Chevrolet Cruze is present in the world market ever since 2001. Cruze in India is one of the most revered sports car versions that Chevrolet has ever produced. With maximum power of 150 PS at 4000 rpm, Cruze in India is the most blazing four wheel drive. Chevrolet Cruze is renowned as ‘Holden Cruze’ and ‘Daewoo Lacetti Premiere’ In Australia and South Korea respectively. Cruze in India was launched in the in Oct 2009. Chevrolet Cruze sales have almost doubled in the last 12 months, according to market sources. There is no particular reason for increase in demand, except the fact that people slowly came to know what Cruze in India has achieved. In past 12 months of operations in India, Chevrolet Cruze has won prestigious awards by renowned corporate houses and government agencies. Chevrolet keeps high priority quality and maintains optimum class for its customers. Since its inception in India, Cruze has created a huge hype in the car market segment which clearly proves its acceptance. After all, India loves to ‘cruise on Cruze’.

Choosing the Chevrolet Cruze Amid the New Cars in India

I won’t be wrong if I say that the Chevrolet Cruze and the Chevrolet Beat are riding herd amid the new cars in India. Whether it is the exterior styling or interior décor or engine capacities or performance and more, you will just love driving them flaunting your style statement. While a neighbor in my left bought the Chevrolet Cruze, the neighbor in my right bought the Chevrolet Beat and both the cars get parked in close quarters in front of our apartment. I was not that crazy about these two new cars in India but after my eyes fell repeatedly on the sedan and hatchback, I am now all geared up to buy one. But now I am in a dilemma whether to go for the Beat or the Cruze.

As I don’t own a car and had been planning for long, I have been looking online, especially at car portals for new cars in India. Now that I have accumulated the funds, enough to get me the Beat, I am thinking why not get the Chevrolet Cruze with the help of a car loan to reimburse the remaining amount. Higher level of power and torque resulting in excellent acceleration and engine performance are features common in both the new cars, but a sedan is a sedan after all. The Cruze is available in both petrol and diesel engines whilst the Beat being only in petrol. And I want my car in diesel.

A Decision to Buy the Chevrolet Cruze

Guys, have you ever visited the GM India corporate site. I have never imagined about the countless milestones achieved by General Motors at the international level. I read that the auto maker has been in operation since the year 1908 with manufacturing units at 33 countries at present. I happened to visit the GM India corporate site while I was trying to find some information about the new Cruze Chevrolet. I must admit, GM is an auto maker with a difference. Well, this company is not only prominent in India but also in 200 more countries!

I wanted to buy a sedan and after I saw the Chevrolet Cruze in the streets, I felt that’s the right car for me. As per the features and specifications mentioned about the sedan in the GM India corporate site and in other car portals, I made up my mind to send an enquiry for a test drive. The Cruze Chevrolet is powered with a 2.0L, 1991cc, 4-Cylinder in-line VCDi (Variable Geometry Turbo Common Rail Direct Injection) diesel engine boosted with a five speed manual transmission gearbox. Users in their reviews have spoken volume about the power, acceleration, and fuel efficiency aspects. And this is again the mileage that I want my car to deliver on an average - 14kmpl in congested city roads and 18.3kmpl on highways. When Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) has released a report with the aforementioned mileage figures, I am very much confirmed about the excellent mileage of the Chevrolet Cruze.
